Comic Convention

We run a school Comic Convention each year in order to celebrate everything Graphic Novel, Computer Game, Comic Book and Anime based. Typically, students get to meet experts working in gaming or computer studies, try video gaming devices from the past and present and Cosplay their favourite characters. We also have several Sixth Form run stalls which aim to raise money for local charities (or charities that our students feel strongly about). Last year we raised an impressive £860 over two dates; charities we donated to included Outreach Youth (supported by BBC Children in Need), Suffolk Mind, Switchboard and UNICEF (towards projects to help Pakistan, Afghanistan and Ukraine). Thank you to BLOC (Suffolk Libraries) for loaning us equipment for the event and to our Sixth Form and Year 11 Library event teams for helping organise.
