Book Week

Every October the Library and English Department join forces for a week of literary celebration. We take a whole school approach to book week and celebrate fiction and non-fiction books alike! Students get involved with author visits, form time literary challenges, a Book Week Bake Off, special assemblies and more! Highlights also include a Book Speed Dating event with our Year 7 Accelerated Reader Classes (to promote the importance of reading for pleasure) and a special Year 8 Book Tasting Awards.
